What is Solbx? Well it's a combination of Sol and OBX! I chose this name because the Outerbanks is home to some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets in the world. With its unique geography having both north - south and east - west oriented land masses there are a variety to wonderful spots to take in the spectacular sunrises and sets. Having vacationed in the OBX for over a decade and now having moved here I make seeing the sunset a part of my everyday. Sometimes I even get up early enough to catch the sunrise. This site is a repository of the pictures I take, as well as a map of where I took them, and a blog of some of my adventures.
